We help Vermonters find Direct Care Workers![]() The RewardingWork.org registry provides the only comprehensive and current list of people in Vermont who are ready to provide direct care in your home. This is a free service for everyone in Vermont who needs support to help them live independently. You can get names, telephone numbers, and availability of Direct Care Workers for full- or part-time work, and learn if they can work days, evenings, or weekends. Here's how it works:
(Note: State funded programs have their own procedures for hiring a worker. If you have questions, please contact the agency that is assisting you.) Although this service is a subscription service, there is no fee for residents of Vermont. After you register, you get unlimited access to all the names of available care providers for 12 months. You may re-register at no charge for an additional 12-months for as long as you have the need. Job candidates in the Rewarding Work database have NOT been screened in any way and their backgrounds have NOT been checked. That is your responsibility as an employer. You may need additional assistance identifying, interviewing, conducting reference and national background checks or becoming the employer of record.
