How it works

 

You first establish an account by clicking here.

  1. Then you search the list of available Direct Support Professionals.
  2. After you find one or more people who meet your specific needs, you contact them by phone or email to arrange an interview.
  3. When you find someone who meets your needs and who wants to work for you, you hire that person. Click here for hiring tips.

This service is a subscription service. If you receive services from the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and are considering hiring and managing your own support, you are eligible for a free long-term subscription. Contact your case manager or support broker for an access code and more information.

If you do not receive services from DDS, you may still access the list of Direct Support Professionals after you pay a small fee.  The fee will allow you unlimited access to the names and information of all available care providers for a period as short as one month, or as long as one year.
