PCA Position (1): Part-Time Caregiver for Child in Hamden, CT
Pay: $22.50/h & $25/h (Mixed Rate)
Schedule: Flex (20-25 hours/week), including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and rotating weekends. Shift’s include (but not limited to){ 4-11pm, 8am-3pm, 6-10pm, 1-4pm,}
***This is a combined part-time position, including hours from both Position 1 and Position 2, with a flexible schedule covering mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Schedules are set 1-2 months in advance, providing consistency for weeks ahead*** l
We’re looking for a compassionate caregiver for a non-verbal child in a wheelchair, with additional support for the child’s mother. A portion of your hours will be compensated at the CFC state rate, while the remainder of your hours will be at the enhanced rate of $25/h. There’s also potential for more weekly hours for team support.
Responsibilities:
Total care: grooming, toileting, bathing, medication prompting, Assist with school transitions, G-tube feeding, evening routines, Light housekeeping and meal prep
Qualifications:
Compassionate, consistent, and punctual, Experience with G-tube care (a plus, but training will be provided), CPR/First Aid certification (a plus), Med Cert training available in April 2025

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist and support a wonderful lady in the Hamden area. This is a part of a combined caregiving unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility. Provide transportation, errands, and appointment support.Help the mother care for her child’s needs.
Qualifications:
Compassionate, patient, and experienced in caregiving.Experience with stroke recovery is a plus.Strong communication skills.Light housekeeping and meal prep skills.
Note: This position involves caregiving for both the mother and child as part of a combined unit. While each individual has separate care needs, you will provide support to both in a 1-on-1 capacity.
