bout the Role Seeking a compassionate, reliable assistant to support a 32-year-old with special needs. Individual is verbal, ambulatory, and building daily living skills. has no behavioral challenges. Position is funded through DDS Waiver and offers a generous hourly pay. Looking for approximately 12-14 hours a week with flexibility to take on additional hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities center on providing direct assistance with daily living needs and personal hygiene as the top priority. The role involves assisting with errands, offering companionship through recreational activities and community trips, supporting participation in volunteer and employment related activities, as well as preparing simple meals. Additionally, the assistant will support routine daily tasks, assist with skill-building activities, and handle basic computer documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications Applicants must have a genuine passion for working with and caring for individuals with special needs. Candidates should possess a reliable personal vehicle (with mileage reimbursed). Flexibility to take on additional hours as needed is required. College education.
