Individual Home Support needed for Adult

Description

In this unique shared living opportunity the support person would be available 10:00 pm - 8:30am 7 days a week to offer support as needed, in exchange for free room and board (private bedroom and bath). Regular scheduled days off as agreed upon. Additional flexible hours in the afternoon/evening and weekends available with a starting salary of $26/hr.
The person needing support is a young man with autism who is physically active and involved in the community.
Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, encouraging independence and community participation, providing local transportation to activities and offering companionship and support.
The ideal candidate should be patient, an effective communicator and enjoy helping others. Knowledge of and experience with autism a plus.
