PCA needed for Child

Would you enjoy working in a family atmosphere, helping a young boy develop his social and functional life skills? If so, we would like to meet you!

We are seeking a Part Time PCA for a 10 year-old boy with Intellectual Impairment, ADHD, sensory processing disorder and behavioral challenges. Care will take place in our apartment home in Wilmington, MA.

Ideal candidate will be fun, compassionate, patient and physically able to keep up with a very active 10 year-old who enjoys being outside, riding his scooter outside his home and going for walks. Keeping him busy, engaged, and safe in his environment is a priority. Assisting him with ADLs such as toileting, dressing, preparing food and cleaning up after eating is also required. Awareness and/or training with seizure disorders helpful, as he does have absence seizures occasionally. Knowledge and training in Safety Care is a plus.

Hours are flexible based on your ability; 6-20 hours per week. Preferred schedule during the school week would be M-F, 3:30pm-530pm. Vacation weeks are also available, 9am-530pm or half day shifts. Weekend hours also available.

Majority of pay will be through Tempus Unlimited, $19/hour. Application and CORI required. If interested please submit Resume.
