PCA needed for Adult

Need a PCA for morning shifts 6 days a week.

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday morning: 7:30am - 12:30pm (Sunday hours can be changed to 8:30am - 1:30pm, if PCA prefers this option)

Pay rate: $19/hr direct deposit paid by payroll agency

Looking for a Personal Care Attendant/Aid/Assistant (PCA) for a woman living with a Spinal Cord Injury (quadriplegia) in Revere, and who has a service dog. Applicants MUST be comfortable with dogs.

The location is in Revere very close to a bus stop.

Responsibilities:

· grooming

· dressing/undressing

· transfers into/out of wheelchair

· shower

· bathroom routine

· suprapubic catheter and drainage bag maintenance

· passive range of motion

· household chores (some cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc)

· occasional errands and/or appointments

· maintenance of adaptive equipment

· some assistance with her service dog

· overall assistance with her activities of daily living.

All necessary equipment for personal care and house chores is available on-site (hoyer lift, sliding board, shower chair, washer/dryer, vacuum, etc).

Benefits: possibility to earn paid time off, some flexibility in schedule (need advance notice).

References: must provide at least 2 work-related references during the interview.
