Caregiver needed for Adult

Description

This position is for an aide.

A member of the family or senior staff member will be present & responsible.

The primary focus of this role is providing positive encouragement & helping in all basic functions of daily life. I.E. Food prep, feeding, getting dressed, plying games, changing the channel on the tv, etc.

Patient is 23 year old non verbal male. Still in diapers. Has behavioral outbursts.

The behavioral outbursts will be managed by another member of staff who will be with you on premises.

But only apply if you have the capability to move yourself quickly. Without meaning to be harmful the patient can have erratic movements & be unpredictable.

He can also be a joy to be around & this role is rewarding to the right people because he is continuing to learn / develop.

In this case, the "right people" are those that gain fulfillment through helping someone make incremental progress while being able to let some really tough mood days roll off their backs.
