Work Schedule: 20-25 Hours
• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with flexible hours
From time to time, there may be conferences or events that take place on a Friday or Saturday. DSPs may be required to work during these occasions, with advance notice provided. Flex time may be offered to accommodate schedules. Additionally, I host occasional social events for my SA Group, which are fun, inclusive, and may also require DSP support with prior communication.

Looking to hire a Direct Support Professional.



Position Overview
Supporting the creation of monthly reports and other administrative tasks.
Attending both in-person and virtual meetings to ensure smooth communication and participation.

Helping to launch and facilitate new Self-Advocacy groups.

Assisting with the onboarding and training of new DDS hires.
Collaborating on the development of PowerPoint presentations and other materials.

Representing the team at conferences and fairs
Traveling to and from work locations
Working on various projects and initiatives that support the team’s goals.

Promoting a collaborative work environment through strong team communication.
Collaborate with a skilled team member who is highly knowledgeable and experienced in their role. There may be instances where the Direct Support Professional (DSP) has minimal tasks or downtime, allowing for flexibility during quieter moments.

Key Responsibilities:
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Double-check work products, such as emails, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents, ensuring accuracy and conducting thorough spell checks.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team to achieve shared goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Active Participation: Engage in team meetings and discussions, offering insights and support for the success of team objectives.

Guidance and Support: Provide guidance to me with a disability, assisting them in developing essential life skills and supporting them in achieving work-related goals.

Organizational Support: Helping me organize our routines, activities, and tasks, while teaching time management and organizational skills.

Presentation Support: Assist myself in preparing and delivering presentations, offering feedback and support throughout the process.

Driving and Transportation to and from work events SA group in person meetings conferences.

Qualifications:
Age 21+
Valid driver’s license and must have a vehicle no expectation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work part of a team
Flexibility to work late meetings or during non-traditional hours when required
