Caregiver needed for Adult

Description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and friendly Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide companionship and support for an adult with mild mental disabilities. This role is less about medical care and more about building a positive, engaging, and supportive relationship while assisting with day-to-day activities. Some responsibilities might include: providing companionship and engage in fun, social activities such as playing board games, going to the movies, or visiting a nail salon; assisting with errands such as food shopping and occasional outings; supporting with light meal preparation and cooking; providing transportation to activities and appointments as needed, helping with light housekeeping (tidying up, laundry, etc.); fostering a safe, encouraging, and enjoyable environment.
