Caregiver needed for Child

Description

Opportunity to work with 2 children on the Autism Spectrum, ages 9 and 10, living in Cambridge. The job entails working on skills like communication, speech, and language. For example, forming sentences and communicating wants and needs. The job also entails working on skills like problem solving. For example, assisting with puzzles and worksheets. Both individuals are very playful and friendly and have special interests in dolls. Work will take place inside the family’s home.

The opportunity is to work with both children, however skills trainers must dedicate 1:1 time with each child. The skills trainer can worth with each child the same day. The kids are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school at 2:30. The kids are also available Saturday and Sundays from 9AM-1PM. Hours are flexible, and parents are willing to work with you to obtain hours. Ideally, the family is looking for someone to work 4 hours a week per child (8 hours a week total).
