PCA/DSP needed for Adult

Description

Schedule (fixed):
Monday 3:00pm–6:00pm
Wednesday 3:00pm–6:00pm
Optional weekend hours (planned in advance; flexible)
Start/Location: Care starts once he is home in Lawrence. In-home + community outings.
Client: 21-year-old adult with Autism. Support is mostly supervision, prompting, routines, and community participation.
Duties:
Provide structure, prompting, and calm support
Support transitions and engagement in activities
Community outings/transportation to:
Haircuts, exercise classes, appointments
Family visits if comfortable
Document basics (what worked/what didn’t, any incidents)
Transportation requirements:
Reliable car + valid license
Comfortable transporting client
Up to 30 miles one-way
Clean driving record preferred
Required:
Autism/special needs experience
CPR/First Aid (or obtain immediately)
Willing to complete CORI/SORI + provide references
Reliable (this is non-negotiable)
Pay: Competitive based on experience
