Caregiver needed for Adult

Description

We seek a dedicated individual, as part of a team providing companionship and support for a disabled adult.

The cognitively disabled adult male is a physically active and sociable individual who enjoys cultural activities such as visiting museums, attending concerts, and exploring the city. We offer a friendly and supportive work environment with flexible hours.

Our ideal total number of hours would be 15-30 hours/week. Tuesday through Thursday between 4 and 8 hours/day. Friday only 4 to 6 hours.

Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and engage in activities such as going to museums, concerts, and other social events.
Accompany the individual on public transit for outings and appointments.
Ensure the individual’s safety and well-being at all times.
Foster a cheerful and positive atmosphere.

Requirements:
Must be mobile and physically able to walk long distances and use public transit.
Friendly, patient, and able to build rapport with people quickly.
Interest in cultural activities like museums and concerts.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles is a plus, but not required.
