Seeking a reliable, patient, and compassionate in‑home support professional to assist a 34‑year‑old autistic adult in maintaining independence and daily functioning. The ideal candidate is calm, organized, and respectful of neurodiversity, with a supportive and person‑centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assistance with errands such as grocery shopping, appointments, and routine household needs
Drive the individual to scheduled activities, appointments, and community outings
Support meal planning and meal preparation, including simple cooking and ensuring dietary needs are followed
Assist with medication administration and maintaining accurate medication schedules
Encourage daily routines while respecting the individual’s preferred communication and sensory needs
Help maintain a safe, structured, and comfortable home environment
Offer social support and promote independence whenever possible
Qualifications

Experience working with autistic or neurodivergent adults (preferred but not required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Strong communication skills and a calm, patient demeanor
Basic cooking skills and ability to follow a meal plan
Reliability and consistency in scheduling
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Work Environment & Schedule
