Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a meaningful impact while also enjoying affordable coastal living?
We are seeking a Live-In Mentor to join a supportive home community of young adults who are graduates of Riverview School and are building their independent lives on Cape Cod.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentorship, community living, and flexible work while dramatically reducing their cost of living.
About the Community
The property is shared by six young men who are graduates of Riverview School and are living active and independent lives on Cape Cod. Each of them has a full schedule that includes work, friendships, and activities in the community.
Because of this, the role is not hands-on caregiving, but instead focuses on mentorship, encouragement, and helping maintain a positive household environment.
The home is also located close to Riverview School’s Friends Together program, which helps alumni stay connected and supported as they build independent lives.

Financial Benefits
Low monthly rent: just $150/month
Opportunity for up to 10 hours per week of additional paid support working with residents in the home
These optional support hours may include helping coordinate simple shared dinners, social engagements, errands, transportation, etc.

Live-In Mentor Responsibilities
Morning Check-Ins 7:30 - 8:00 am
Provide light prompts and encouragement to help residents start their day successfully.
Examples may include:
• Gentle reminders to wake up
• Supporting morning routines if needed
• Helping ensure everyone gets off to a good start and is dressed approproately for the weather
Evening Check-Ins 9:00 - 9:30 pm
Provide a brief evening check-in and ensure the home is settled for the night.
Examples may include:
• Light reminders for evening routines, showers, hygiene, etc
• Ensuring doors are locked and the home is secure
• Confirming everyone is comfortable for the evening
Overnight Presence
Be present in the home overnight in case of emergencies or if residents need reassurance.
Optional Resident Support (Up to 10 Hours Per Week)
For someone interested, there may also be an opportunity for additional paid hours supporting the household community.
Examples may include:
✔ Helping coordinate simple shared dinners
✔ Encouraging social time or group activities
✔ Helping keep shared spaces tidy and organized
✔ Transportation to activities or events
✔ Taking them out into the community, errands, etc
These hours are flexible and designed to support a positive and supportive household environment.
