Individual Day Support needed for Adult

Description

My name is Paige Librandi. I am 34 years old and live in Milford, Connecticut with my dad and younger sister Alex. I also have a dog and a cat.
I currently work as a Self-Advocate Coordinator for Connecticut Developmental Services and have been in this role for six years. I am seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist me with my job beginning in mid-August.
This is an Individual Day Support position located in Milford, CT 06460. The schedule includes Monday- Friday 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. for approximately 35 hours per week at $23.00 per hour. We use GT independence for payment.
I have Cerebral Palsy and value consistency, respect, and a positive, supportive environment. I use a power wheelchair and have since I was three years old. I use an iPad for communication and have a feeding tube in my stomach. I am also a very independent young woman and appreciate support that encourages my independence while helping me succeed in my daily work activities.
I am looking for someone dependable, patient, respectful, and supportive who would be a good fit for this role.
