Skills Trainer needed for Adult

Description

Seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable individual to provide skill-building support for a happy and engaged adult male with cerebral palsy and left-sided hemiparesis. This DDS funded position focuses on promoting independence, confidence, and physical wellness in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include:
-Assisting with upper body strengthening activities
-Supporting bilateral coordination exercises
-Encouraging participation in household tasks and daily living activities
-Supporting independence while fostering a positive and respectful relationship

This position would be especially beneficial for OT, PT, or related healthcare students seeking hands-on experience supporting functional skill development. Experience working with adults with disabilities or cerebral palsy is preferred but not required.
