Companion needed for Teen

Description

I am looking for a respite care staff or home supports for my daughter Vruti! She is a sweet and sensitive girl who loves music, puzzles, boardgames, computer games, and watching movies (at home or in the theater!). We are looking for someone to keep her company and encourage her to expand her comfort zone. Maybe to take her out into the community shopping, movies, or the playground.

She uses an AAC device well and is otherwise non- vocal. She needs reminders to use the bathroom, and help choosing activities to use in her free time. As far as behaviors, she cries when stressed or if her routine changes unpredictably, but she has no aggressive behaviors.

If you have any summer, afterschool, or Saturday availability and would like to meet Vruti, please let us know! We are flexible to your schedule :) !
