Individual Day Support needed for Adult

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our agency. In this role, you will work one-on-one with an individual with development disabilities, empowering him to live a fulfilling, independent life in his own home and community.

Key Responsibilities
• Personal Care: Provide assistance with daily living activities to maintain a goal of healthy eating and regular exercise.
• Attention to detail: adhering to specific protocols/guidelines in addition to recording State required documentations.
• Skill Development: Encourage independence by assisting with cooking, basic housekeeping chores, and money management.
• Community Inclusion: Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, community events, and social activities. Along with helping plan client appointments and organize a schedule.
• Support Plan Implementation: Follow individualized service plans, monitor health conditions, and document progress accurately.
• Safety & Advocacy: Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and advocate for the rights and choices of the individual supported.
