Individual Home Support needed for Adult

Description

We are hiring an Independence Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a male individual Monday through Friday, 8 AM–4 PM. In this role, you’ll provide assistance with daily routines, transportation to and from work, appointments and community activities.

Our ideal candidate will:
-Have experience working with people with specialized needs, be dependable and patient.
-Be willing to provide transportation three days a week to and from the individual’s apartment in Danvers and his workplace at TILL Farms, in Westboro. On these workdays, you’ll spend the day at the farm to provide on-the-job assistance as needed. TILL Farms is a very special place, providing growing, agricultural and woodworking experience to individuals with specialized needs.
-Spend the other two days a week close to home in Danvers – going to appointments, doing errands, and providing companionship.

Requirements:
-Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and experience providing one-on-one support.
-Must be 18 years of age or older, with a high school diploma or GED.
