Companion needed for Adult

Description

Seeking a companion to support me in connecting more with my community, exploring my
surroundings, meeting new people, and trying new activities and experiences. I am an easy-going, kind person who values and enjoys being engaged with the world though also need help with certain things so I can live my life fully.

8-10 hours/week, specific day(s) and hours are negotiable, $26/hr.

Role consists of:
• Collaboratively identify and plan outings of interest with me.
• Provide transportation for outings & activities that I enjoy in my vehicle.
• Be tuned in and adaptable during outings, offering support in some
circumstances and simply companionship in others.
• Encourage and support my learning and growth and having fun during
the process.

I seek a mutually respectful employer/employee relationship with someone who
is responsible, reliable, patient and kind. It is important to me that this person is a good
listener and communicator and is okay with encountering a calm service dog when I am home, but not on outings. Having a current driver’s license and cell phone are also needed. Applicants must be 22 or older and be willing to complete a CORI as well as other hiring paperwork.
