Caregiver needed for Adult

Description

Looking for a reliable, compassionate PCA/caregiver for a male in his 40s who is a quadruple amputee.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the opportunity (not required) for additional 24-hour coverage for approximately 3 days every couple of months during work travel.

Responsibilities
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Toileting, bowel care, and bowel/incontinence cleanup
• Transfers, positioning, and regular repositioning/pressure relief
• Gentle stretching and range-of-motion assistance
• Skin care and basic wound care within caregiver's training/qualifications
• Meal preparation and assistance as needed
• Accompanying/supervising him on walks while he uses his electric wheelchair
• Light housekeeping related to his care
• Companionship and general daily assistance
• Grocery shopping & errands
• Driving/accompanying to appointments

Looking for someone who is dependable, patient, comfortable with hands-on personal care, and experienced caring for adults with significant physical disabilities. PCA, CNA, home health, or similar experience preferred.

Must be comfortable with dogs - two friendly dogs live in the home.
