Description
We are seeking additional direct support for a 30 year old woman with I/DD who loves horseback riding, mysteries, tea, books, dancing, rock climbing, and so much more!
The client participates in a self-directed day program, which means she has a schedule of various activities and therapies, jobs, and independent work/ skill development throughout the week. The “home base” of the client’s self-directed program is located in Lincoln, MA. We call this building “Athena’s Place”. She is dropped off and picked up there each day by her group home staff. Her group home is located in Framingham, MA.
I am interested in hiring additional support to work with this client for some time during the week to give me some time for administrative tasks, as well as to give this client opportunities to work with new people and have new experiences. I’d be interested in hiring someone for a recurring shift/ schedule each week, and/ or on an as needed basis when I am away or need coverage.
Additionally, we are always looking for more support on weekends when she does not have a planned schedule of activities. I’d also be interested in finding someone for an evening shift to accompany this client to some activities that happen ‘after hours’.
Priority times for coverage on a recurring basis would be:
• Mondays
• Every other Tuesday (10AM-4PM)
• Friday afternoon / evenings
That said - things can be flexible depending on what works for our ideal applicant's schedule and interests.
