Caregiver needed for Adult

Description

Looking for a very kind, respectful and compassionate individual for a family's very much loved twenty+ year old male to be cared for in the family home. Must be very respectful of and willing to learn from the family's longtime caregivers. Two eight-hour shifts per week to start and some evenings and weekends as required. You must be able to provide communication skills building, and continuing skills with self-care, cooking, cleaning, and also enjoying recreation outdoors for Special Olympics, walks, etc..., arts & crafts, and other activities. Will train how to help him and build his skills! This is a very sweet-natured individual who likes to keep busy and active! You should be also sweet and cheerful to match his personality, athletic or energetic to keep up with him, and willing to train for his communication devices -- please have a strong interest in alternative communication for the disabled. You must be willing and able to do some hands-on gentle touch and verbal prompts as needed. Health and safety is a priority. No strong lifting required. CPR trained preferred. Must have valid US working papers, Valid Drivers License with clean record, and the passage of background, employment, criminal checks, etc... as required.
