Companion needed for Adult

We are looking for a part-time companion for our 29 yo daughter who has a mild developmental disability and epilepsy. She’s a kind-hearted, sensitive, creative person who loves to laugh. She enjoys watching comedies, playing games, going for walks and outings, and spending time with our dog. The role of our daughter’s companion is to do activities together, explore the community, and be a positive, encouraging person in her life. We’re looking for someone who is warm, responsible, friendly and compassionate. $32 an hour. Ideal schedule for us is 9-2 or 10-3 three or four days a week; we can be flexible with hours/schedule. Position can be from 5-20 hours weekly. We live in Brookline near Washington Square. This is a great job for someone who cares deeply about supporting individuals with disabilities. Also a wonderful fit for a mom who’s looking for meaningful work when children are at school.
