A family in the Storrs area is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support our young adult son with Cerebral Palsy.
This position includes in-home care and community activities.
🎓 Ideal for college students & young professionals
💪 Training provided💪 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with light exercise and physical activity
• Support with homework and college activities
• Assist with daily living activities (transfers, communication, feeding)
• Accompany and assist with community outings (walking, gym, recreational activities)🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Experience with children, adolescents, or young adults
• Good physical health
• 🚗 Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Patient, dependable, and motivated
• Willing to learn (training provided)
• Positive attitude & good sense of humor
• Basic computer skills🎓 IDEAL FOR STUDENTS OR GRADUATES IN
Education • Special Education • Physical Therapy • Speech & Language • Psychology • Nursing • Healthcare🕒 HOURS AVAILABLE
• Weekdays: Flexible daytime, or 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM shift
• Weekends: Saturday and/or Sunday
