Skills Trainer needed for Adult

Description

Skills trainer needed to work with a 22-year-old male with developmental disabilities and autism who needs assistance developing his life skills and ADLs at home after school, in the evenings, and on weekends. Duties include taking him outside for walks to engage in appropriate social interactions when walking with others outside and at the park. Assist with self-feeding skills at mealtimes, learning to clean up during and after eating, learning dressing skills daily and at bath time, learn toileting skills and hygiene skills of hand washing and grooming, basic self-care activities, picking up after himself, and using his AAC device more independently. Pay rate is $25-$30/hour, depending on qualifications. The position is funded by a state agency and your education and background provides an opportunity to negotiate that higher salary. For example, a BCBA receives a higher pay rate. Position starts at 8 hours per week. Contact me if interested.
