Caregiver needed for Teen

Description

Miles is a14-year-old boy with a rare disease called Phelan-McDermid syndrome. He is Buzz Lightyear, Pete the Cat, and Mickey Mouse's biggest fan. He loves riding his Rifton bike, playing video games, being read to, listening to music, and cracking jokes on his Tobii device. He is a sarcastic and hilarious teenage boy!
Miles is a student at the Campus School at Boston College. He uses his eyes to communicate and has a lot to say. We are seeking a reliable caregiver who is ready to laugh and love our son to join his team next school year!
Here are the hours we have available, We are open to caregivers who can take on one or multiple shifts:
• Monday–Friday: 6:45–7:45 AM (morning routine, get Miles on his van)
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:45 PM – 7:45 PM (off van, afternoon and bedtime routine)
• Wednesday: 1:45 PM – 7:45 PM (Miles gets home early on Wednesdays next school year)
• Additional hours on school vacation weeks and holidays available

Requirements
• Comfortable with changing, dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene tasks
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs independently
• Willing to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally as needed
